Urban Shift proudly presents the seven green startups that resulted from the first round of this transdisciplinary and international education programme. During six months, students worked in transdisciplinary and cross-border groups to develop start-ups addressing urban challenges. The focus of the green startups ranges from vegan leather to natural façade cooling systems. The students were supported by experts from each discipline, as well as great business minds that helped turn the ideas into viable start-ups.
If you are interested in approaches used to empower students from Design and Architecture, Media, Business and Engineering and the startups themselves, check out the project website and social media channels! Shortly, a second round will be launched, focusing on extreme weather events and mobility. If you are an expert in the field and happy to help green business ideas with insights from the field, then please reach out to the project organizers!
