This year’s SOS International Summit, "Student voices for a safe and just transition", took place 18-21 March 2026, hosted at the University and Green Office Konstanz, Germany. Despite the challenging financial backdrop facing higher education, over 70 student and staff delegates came together for an engaging and energetic program of keynotes, workshop sessions and panel discussions focused on the critical role of student-staff collaborative structures in Higher Education Sustainable Development.
The SOS International Summit also marked the start of the 2-year tenure of the SOS International Presidency by ‘Organización Continental Latinoamericana de Estudiantes (OCLAE)’, with President Tel Guajajara from the Federal University of Pará (Brazil) delivering the opening and closing plenaries. Full conference proceedings will be published later in the summer along with announcement of the host institution for the SOS International Summit 2027.
